Author Guidelines

On making a submission to the journal, authors are first asked to check carefully their articles to ensure that the articles strictly comply with the following guidelines. Submitted manuscripts may be eliminated from the review process and sent back to authors if they do not adhere to the Dalat University Journal of Science's editorial policies.

[1] The manuscripts must reflect original scientific work that has never been published and is not under consideration by other journals;

[2] The manuscripts must be in compliance with the guidelines presented on the Manuscript Template. Manuscripts which do not follow the Manuscript Template issued by the Editorial Office will not be considered. [3] The manuscripts must be written in English, using the word processing software Microsoft Word;

[4] Authors are required to implement the reference style of APA (The American Psychological Association reference style). The journal especially encourages authors to use reference management software (such as Endnote; Zotero; Biblioscape; and so forth), or use Insert Citation on Microsoft Word to automate and systematize in-text citation and the acknowledgement of reference source;

[5] All submitted manuscripts will be managed systematically by the Editorial Office. Any manuscript meeting the journal objectives and the author guidelines will be assigned to one section editor who will provide an objective assessment of the paper and determine if it is useful enough to conduct a double blind peer-review process;

[6] All manuscripts in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and refereeing by at least one anonymous referee. The DLU JOS currently has a turnaround time of 90 days on average between submission and initial decision;

[8] In the message to the Editor-in-Chief (on making an online submission to the journal), please:

• Specify the corresponding author’s full name, affiliation, affiliation address, phone number and institutional email address;

• In case the paper is submitted to a special issue covering a DLU JOS sponsored-conference, be sure to indicate in the message to the Editor-in-Chief that the paper was submitted and/or presented at the conference;

• Provide a short description (two to three lines) about the corresponding author of the manuscript (academic titles, main research interest, some typical journals that the corresponding author has published his/her other articles).
