SOME APPROACHES TO STUDY FAMILY SOCIOLOGY

Abstract

The family always has an important role in social life, it performs the basic functions, such as: the satisfaction of psychological - human physiology needs, upholding the races, socialization and the direction of personal values, educating children or caring for elderly people...So, in the studies sociology has always regarded the family as a vital cell of society. However in the development process, families have big changes which require the social sciences should have in-depth research. On the basis of theoretical research, this article states four approaches to study family sociology, namely: Function – structure, access to social institutions, social groups and social lifestyle.
