Abstract

In the general offensive and uprising in spring 1975, under the direction of VI Region Party Committee, Lam Dong and Tuyen Duc Party Committee led the people in provinces to coordinate with the army to liberate Lam Dong Province on March 28, 1975 and Tuyen Duc Province on April 3, 1975. This made favorable conditions for main force troops to defeat the enemy and to liberate the rest of provinces in VI Region, and connected to National Road 20 with National Road 1 to help them attack the North East of Sai Gon, to end the historical Ho Chi Minh Campaign, to liberate the South and unify the country.
