THEORY OF MODERNISATION: CONCEPTS AND PERSPECTIVES FOR APPLICATION

Abstract

Theory of modernisation has always attracted the attention of many different scientific studies. Based on the approach of Sociology, the article focuses on some of the concepts, perspectives for application of theory, which emphasises that the process of modernisation is inevitable dialectical to liberate people out of poverty, backwardness, inequality, and at once to give the nation for entering into a civilised society. Modernisation of society depends on many factors, such as: the historical – cultural factors, social traditions, policy of development, avoiding mechanical duplication of foreign economic, cultural and social structures in the country.
