INFORMATION FOR REVIEWERS

Reviewers act as volunteers, upholding the principles of academic freedom, objectivity, fairness, and information confidentiality. To ensure a smooth and ethical review process, we kindly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) before commencing your review. These guidelines establish core principles and standards to which all reviewers should adhere during the peer review process. We firmly believe that reviewers’ commitment to social responsibility and academic integrity will significantly contribute to the sustainable development of the Dalat University Journal of Science (DLU-JOS).

Reviewers assess the manuscript’s content and presentation format based on the DLU-JOS’s Reviewer Form and the deadline provided in their reviewer invitation email. Following their assessment, they recommend to the Section Editor whether the manuscript is suitable for publication. Reviewers may recommend one of the following actions:

  • Accept without revisions.
  • Request minor revisions and state that no further review is needed.
  • Request major revisions and resubmission for further review.
  • Reject the paper as it does not meet the standards of the DLU-JOS.

The Section Editor will consider the reviewers’ recommendations along with their assessments before making a final decision, subject to endorsement by the Managing Editor, on the manuscript.
